Photographers Without Borders
Print Publication Design
Photographers Without Borders (PWB) works to amplify voices of NGOs and communities around the world through photojournalism. Their bi-annual magazine highlights 7–8 of their community partners though photos and stories. From 2017–2020, I designed 7 issues of the PWB magazine.
The Design Process
Working With Contributors
In my role as the art director of the magazine for 4 years, I was responsible for the layout design and preparing it for print.
I worked with writers and photographers from around the world to develop meaningful, intentional and informative stories.
Highlighting Organizations
Each issue included 7–8 photo stories highlighting grassroots organizations. There were ongoing features of a photographer spotlight, an impact report, program graduate feature and photo contest winners.
