About Me & My Work

Hi! I am a full time freelance graphic designer based in Toronto.

Using engaging and accessible graphic design, I focus on telling stories, visualizing data, communicating calls to action and demonstrating impact.

In addition to client work, I am Treasurer of the board of Mayworks, Festival of Working People and the Arts. Alongside my sister, I co-founded Minnow, a magazine focused on conservation in Ontario/the Great Lakes Region. I was also the graphic design instructor for the Environmental Visual Communications course at Fleming College, in partnership with the ROM before the closure of the program.

I have worked with non-profits, governments and businesses in the areas of mental health, climate justice, social services and human rights. Here's a few below.

"Alex works from a place of deep integrity and sensitivity, producing designs that capture target audiences and clearly communicate the intended message. Her consultation process is thoughtful and collaborative, and she easily incorporates client feedback to achieve desired outcomes, always delivering on time and on budget. Her skills are both broad and deep, and I would highly recommend Alex for design projects of any scale."
