About Me & My Work

I'm a graphic designer, photographer, community-builder, educator, and social/climate justice advocate.

I use engaging and accessible graphic design to effectively tell stories, communicate calls to action and demonstrate impact. Mainly collaborating with non-profits, artists and small businesses, I work together with clients to achieve their mission.

I teach graphic design for the Environmental Visual Communications course at Fleming College, in partnership with the ROM and I am Treasurer of the board of Mayworks, Festival of Working People and the Arts.

I have worked with non-profits in the areas of mental health, climate justice, disability rights and fair trade fashion. Here are a few below.

"Alex works from a place of deep integrity and sensitivity, producing designs that delight and surprise, penetrate subject matter, capture target audiences and clearly communicate the intended message. Her consultation process is thoughtful and collaborative, and she easily incorporates client feedback to achieve desired outcomes, always delivering on time and on budget. Her skills are both broad and deep, and I would highly recommend Alex for design projects of any scale."
